Troubelshooting Common Issues


Unable to connect to my virtual machine for class

  1. Be sure that pop-ups are not blocked for the page.
  2. Be sure you are using the correct username ("vmware\student") and password as noted on your My Class page, under the icon to Launch VM.
    • Note that these credentials are different from the credentials used to log into Workforce Central once you have connected to the VM. Those will be found in your course material for class (or ask your instructor).
  3. Talk to your company's support staff about ensuring that the following traffic is allowed on the firewall/proxy server/smart web filter:
    • Server: classroomgw.kronos.com
    • Port: 443
    • Protocol: Https

Unable to join the Zoom session

  1. If you are unable to join via your browser, try installing the Zoom app:
    • To download, click here.
  2. Talk to your company's support staff about ensuring that Zoom is allowed.
  3. If Zoom is not allowed, disconnect from your company VPN, or move to a different network/internet connection.

Unable to play videos and tutorials

  1. Add "cloud.scorm.com" to your Trusted Sites list in Internet Options:
    • You may need the help of the support staff from your company for this.
    1. In Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer), go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items:

    2. Click on the tab for Security, highlight the Trusted Site icon and click on the Sites button:

    3. Type "cloud.scorm.com" (without quotes) in the box and click on Add, then Close:
